A long-blooming Southwestern penstemon with tall stems of vivid scarlet-red flowers that rise above narrow blue-green foliage. Scarlet Bugler is especially well suited to sunny, dry gardens and open landscapes, where its bright flowers bring color through the heat of summer. A favorite of hummingbirds, it is also a good choice for native pollinator plantings.
